Single Track Mind Cycling Club May 21st 2003

Jim G. and Tony P. are on for the race.  The course is on the Freund Canyon trail.  It does climb, like 5 miles which takes a average rider about an hour.  The ride back down is a kick however.  3 or 4 miles down with some interesting water bars thrown in for fun.

Jim and his wife Kathy have a cabin rented very near the event.  There is very limited room in the cabin, but the back yard is open for camping.  This isn't a campout however.  We won't be cooking for the group, but there is a bathroom available.  Bring you own towels and stuff.

The plan is to meet up at the cabin and do the race Saturday morning.  Then re-group down at the event in the afternoon for the Brew part of the Bike and Brew.  Sunday might have time to for another ride, but no location has been chosen.

Jim and Christine the owners of Das Rad Haus in Leavenworth are the organizers of the event.  They are avid Mt. bikers and are also on the Stevens Pass ski patrol.  They recently got married at Stevens.

If your spouse isn't keen on the brew thing there is even a event call the Leavenworth Wine Walk in town that weekend.
